What you are looking at here is a before pic set of a B80 that belongs to my friend Mike.  Currently it is disassembled and it has been stripped primed and painted.  Pics of the process will be posted as we progress.

The pictures at the right were added today January 27th, 2008 and are of the B80 that we are restoring.  You can see that all the parts have been wrapped in syran wrap to protect the finish while they were sitting in the shop.  The frame is also complete in the last few pictures with the transmission and engine remounted.  The stripping process was a combination of sandblasting, and wire wheel work.  We painted using a self etching primer and International Harvester red.  The paint manufacturer is Valspar and the paint was purchased at Tractor Supply.  The early model Wheel Horses were painted using a red paint that has a similar dye lot that was used by IH and Farmall.  Newer models used a bit of a darker red similar to a light candy apple color.
