Tractor Jack's

This D250 was bought as a machine that I thought was going to be just a turn key unit.  Well as I got it home and began to play with it a bit, I found that there was a bot more needed to get it running.  I am currently working on rebuilding the engine which is a Renault 800.01 (R8).  Despite what I have been told, I have found an engine shop that is able to get new factory parts.  They are Continental Engines.  There is a direct link to them on my links page.

So far the engine is seized.  After removing the head, I am finding the issue to be in the lower half of the engine.  From the condition of the head and pistons and lack of scarring on the sleeves I am convinced that this engine is stuck from lack of use.  We'll make something out of this sad sack yet.
